Adopt a Zoo animals and become a partner in Zoo programs that help animals at home and abroad.
Your adoption lasts for a year and every adoption package arrives with a personalized adoption certificate and an official Adoption Supporter button. Higher level adoptions bring even more surprises. Give as a gift or keep the adoption all to yourself.
Adoption Packages and Benefits
- Shared Care parents receive a personalized adoption certificate, zookeeper notes about the animal, a color photo of the adopted animal and a window decal. ($30)
- Parent Plus parents receive all the benefits above, plus an Adopt an Animal magnet.

- Grandparent Care parents receive all the above, plus a packet of NC Zoo Society note cards.

- Ambassador Care parents receive all the benefits above, plus a cuddly plush of the adopted animal, recognition on the "Wild Child" Parents' board and recognition on our Web site' Adopt Honor Roll.
($500)
- Rare Care parents receive all the benefits above, plus recognition in the NC Zoo Society's annual report, a behind-the-scenes tour and lunch for four (tour and lunch date depends on zookeeper availability). ($1000)
