Sponsorship Opportunities
A recent Cone Corporate Citizenship Survey reports that “more than ever,” savvy American consumers consider a company’s corporate citizenship activities when making purchasing decisions. In today's economy, Americans believe it is more important than ever for companies to be socially responsible. In fact, when price and quality are equal, 86 percent of Americans will switch brands to support a cause they believe in.
Forming a partnership with the NC Zoo Society can translate into brand loyalty by aligning your company with a well respected and visible member of North Carolina’s educational and conservation community.
The NC Zoo Society offers corporate partnerships that meet and exceed your expectations - and your marketing and human resource objectives!
SPONSORSHIPS
Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available for many different Zoo programs and offerings from education programs and gardens, to Zoo to Do and Zoo Day for underserved youth. Let us tailor a sponsorship to meet your needs.
- Sponsor a Dinosaur for a year and become part of the North Carolina Zoo's most magnificent temporary exhibit EVER! These life-size, automatronic wonders will fascinate and inspire up to 500,000 children and adults during 2012. Sponsors will be recognized on signage associated with their particular dinosaurs.
- Valerie H. Schindler Wildlife Learning Center – The Valerie H. Schindler Wildlife Learning Center accommodates both short- and long-term visits from interns and other guests who want to expand their knowledge of the Zoo and support its missions in education, research, conservation and recreation.
- Art In The Park Display – Art In The Park – The Zoo’s public art collection is widely recognized as one of the best in the country and has a value that exceeds $3 million. Individual pieces reinforce the Zoo’s educational and conservation messages and provide unending delight and photo opportunities to visitors.
- Park Benches – Benches are located throughout the park at each of the exhibits and along the pathways to offer a respite for the park’s visitors. For a gift of $1,000, these benches provide a lasting way to honor or memorialize a family member or friend.
- Honeybee Garden – The Honey Bee Garden offers sponsorships for gardens within the Honey Bee Garden Exhibit. Each of these gardens can be named for a donation of $5,000. The Honey Bee Garden Exhibit also showcases a ceramic tile mural featuring a variety of flowers and the words “Bee Kind”. This mural can be sponsored for a gift of $10,000. Sponsorship of the gardens and the mural will give the donor recognition at the Exhibit and on the donor pylons at the North America entrance to the Zoo.
EVENT PARTNERSHIPS
There are many events during the year appealing to a wide variety of people. We can find an event that will be beneficial to your business, help the Zoo and showcase your support for a good cause.
Wake Up with the Animals - An annual thank-you to Zoo Society members, Wake Up brings in 800 or more Zoo friends into the park an hour before it opens to the public and offers a free breakfast an entertainment to these friends.
Zoo To Do - The Zoo Society’s annual fundraising gala that provides dinner, dancing and a silent and a live auction to raise money for Zoo programs. Sponsorships, donated auction items and ticket sales regularly combine to provide more than $100,000 to the Zoo each year.
