This is a class for beginners -- anyone who is interested in learning more about geo-caching and using GPS navigation systems.
We limit the class size to 10 people and have five GPS units to loan out during the class.
The day will include a short, introductory presentation on using GPS technology to make your way in the world. Everyone will also go on a walk in the Park to locate selected longitude and latitude spots in the Zoo.. Fun for families. Suitable for adults and their children 8 years old or older.
The class will begin at 9 a.m. in the Stedman Education Building
Fees: $5/member, $7/non-member.
We will begin taking reservations on February 13.
