Snake Walk

05/17/2007

Meet some zookeepers, zooteachers and their favorite snakes this weekend at the N.C. Zoo.

For two days only, the N.C. Zoo presents its special investigative series, Save our Snakes, to set the record straight on these legless creatures.

This two day adventure offers safe, fun and—dare we say it—"educational" — romps through the myths and the mysteries of these slim, slithery and secretive reptiles.

The Zoo will present its case. You get to decide:

  • Why you can't beat a snake in a staring contest.
  • How to tell the good from the bad and the ugly.
  • What snakes are good for anyway.

Want to bring a youngster for protection? They'll love the Zoo's new kidZone!

It offers laughs, crafts, arts and other fun for kids (ages 2 to 92) who're ready to take back the day and dance with delight in nature.

Bring the family and have fun.
