Bee 'n Bears

Bear and Bee programs at 10 a.m. every Saturday

On June, 2, the Zoo's Polor Bears get center stage. 
Their keepers will be out and about at 10:30 and at 1:30 to a
nswer questions and share insider information on these
great whites. 

From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., voluteers will operate an information
station at thePolor Bear exhibit, inviting visitors to feel some real
Polar Bear hair, match their paws with the bears', explore what
Polar Bears eat -- and so much more. 

On June 9, the Zoo's focus will shift to Gizzly Bears,

On June 16th the attention swings over to Black Bears.

On June 23, kids can bring their favorite teddy bear to the Zoo
for a Teddy Bear Fair. The Zoo’s vet techs will hold a clinic
in the North America Plaza for beloved bears to get their
annual physicals.
Radio Disney will be on site, 10 a.m.–1 p.m., and the popular
Boo at the Zoo entertainer Rick Hubbard will be there for his
 famous
Kazoobie show at noon and 2 p.m. in Junction Plaza with a teddy
bear on-stage parade.

June 30 will wrap up the month’s events with “All About Bears.” 
Visitors can again meet the keepers at all three bear exhibits
starting with Black Bears at 10:30 a.m., Polar Bears at 1 p.m. and
 Grizzly Bears at 2:30 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy the sounds of
Gary Lewis and the "Swing On" band at noon in Junction Plaza.

Every Saturday, beekeepers will be in the new kidZone, passing
out sweet tastes of honey and keeping the buzz going about bees,
 their queens and drones, their contributions to our dinner tables
 and what's happening to their hives.
