The Zoo will be jumping with fun this Leap Day (February 29) and
throughout the following weekend as the Zoo launches the first of many Year of the Frog celebrations.
The
long weekend of activities will include crafts and contests—to call and
jump like frogs—and programs on frogs and their friends. Visitors can
also visit the R.J. Reynolds Forest Aviary to see the Zoo's collection
of Poison Dart and Panama Golden frogs.
The fun is scheduled to take place in the Junction Plaza—in the heart of the Zoo and only a few steps away from the Aviary.
