African Entrance to Reopen02/21/2008
Every winter, the Zoo closes its African entrance gates and asks
visitors to enter the Park using the gates adjacent to the North
American contiental region. Visitors who want to visit the African
exhibits can still do. They can access the African exhibits by riding a
tram or walking through the North America region, which leads directly
to the Aviary and the other African exhibits.
On March 1, the Zoo with reopen the African entrance so that visitors can come or go at either entry point. When the African gates reopen, the Zoo will also resume free tram service between the African and North American parking lots. |
