Two eight-month old Harbor Seals just arrived from New Brunswick, Canada.The semi-pups are full of vim, vigor and fun. If all goes well, the two youngsters will splash into their exhibit (in the RJR Rocky Coast exhibit) sometime in mid-May. Keepers will give the duo several days to swim in the exhibit alone—just to get used to their new home. After that, keepers will work with these two youngsters and our veteran California Sea Lions with the goal of having both groups swimming together in the exhibit by Memorial Day. Keep checking back with us, and we will let you know when the new two go on exhibit.
