 The two, ten-month old giraffes that just drove in from Colorado.
This photo, taken by Zoo photographer, Tom Gillespie, shows one of the two 10-month-old giraffes
that arrived at the North Carolina Zoo on Monday, Sept. 8. Karl Sprouse drove the trailer that brought the two youngsters here from two different animal facilities in Colorado.
The giraffes
will be held in a mandatory 30-day quarantine before they are put on
exhibit with the Zoo's adult giraffe.
