Giraffe Calves Go On Exhibit

 Finally, the 11 month old giraffes that arrived here from Colorado, have gone on exhibit. The duo spent the last 30 days in quarantine—a requirement for all incoming animals—and adjusting to their new North Carolina home. Keepers will be keeping careful watch on the two males for the next several days, as they learn to navigate their new surroundings. Although both giraffes were born in Colorado, they came from different zoos and are not related. The giraffes names are Turbo and Tafari.
