Keeper Jeff Owens snapped this picture of Wilhelm the Polar Bear frolicking in some homemade snow.

Thanks to the generosity of a Zoo Society donor, the Zoo now has a snow-making machine with the capacity to turn Wilhelm's exhibit into a winter wonderland.

The bear had a ball in the snow.

Zoo keepers will continue to make snow for Wilhelm when the weather is cold enough to let the white stuff lie around for awhile.
