 Wolf Awareness Week Activities

Red Wolf Exhibit/Information Table
Sun. October16th through Saturday October 22nd
Educators/Volunteers – Wolf Conservation 11 am – 2 pm
Location: Red Wolf Exhibit

“Meet the Keeper”
Red Wolf Keepers available to speak with public and answer questions  Sun. October16th through Saturday October 22nd
1:15 pm – 1:45 pm
Location: Red Wolf Exhibit

“Wolf Howl” Contest
An opportunity for kids 12 years old and under to test their wolf howling skills
Sunday October 16th and Saturday October 22nd
12:00 pm NOON
Location: Junction Plaza Stage

Wolf Wise Woman
Conservation Minded Fortunes and Native American Artifacts/Stories
Sunday October 16th and Saturday October 22nd
10:00 am-11:30 pm and 1:00 pm–2:30 pm
Location: Stone That Stands in an Empty Sky sculpture, near Red Wolf Exhibit

Face Painting
Wolf conservation with flair
Sunday October 16th and Saturday October 22nd  
11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Location: adjacent to Junction Plaza Stage

Wolf Scavenger Hunt
Daily 10 am – 2 pm
Visitors can pick up the scavenger hunt at the Wolf Awareness Information Table located at the Red Wolf Exhibit in North America.  Answers can be found by reading signs, posters and asking questions of the Educators and Keepers at the Red Wolf exhibit and other locations in the Park. Once completed, the scavenger hunt can be deposited in the boxes provided at the Wolf Awareness Information table, North America Visitor Services and Africa Visitor Services. 3 winners will be randomly selected. Questions must be answered correctly.  Prizes will be sent to the winners the following week.
Prizes will be “wolf themed.”
