Box Turtles in Trouble
Funding to help Box Turtles in Trouble.
In honor of the life and work of Lucille R. Stickel, who died in early 2007, the Box Turtle Conservation Workshop Committee has established the Lucille F. Stickel Box Turtle Research Award. The Award will support research that contributes to the survival of wild box turtle populations.
The Committee will award one or more research grants following a competitive proposal review process. Requirements for submission of proposals, including deadlines, will be posted on this site once minimum funding is secured.
The North Carolina Zoological Society has graciously offered to accept donations for this research award. All donations are tax deductible and go directly toward research funding. Please follow the link below to donate to the Lucille F. Stickel Box Turtle Conservation Research Award.
