The Zoo is waiting for you with a great line up of amazing exhibits. And, the Zoo Society wants you and your family to see them
all at the best price possible.
By joining the North Carolina Zoological Society, you get FREE admission to your Zoo 364 days a year. (The
Zoo is open every day but Christmas Day.) And, you gain
free or discounted admission to more than 150 zoos and aquariums across America--including three North Carolina aquariums.

Enter the N.C. Zoo quickly and easily through our Members-only,
Express Entry Ticket Booths -- always on the far left when you face
either entrance to the Zoo. If you pay with a credit card and join over the Internet,
you become an instant member. Just
print out your e-mail receipt and show it and a picture identification
card to the person working in one of these Zoo Society's members-only,
express entry ticket booths.
As a member, you also receive four copies a year of the Society's full-color magazine,
Alive,
to keep you up to date on special events and member programs. We
can help you enjoy the Zoo, too, in ways that only members can!
We'll invite you to
Wake Up with the Animals, our annual spring celebration for our members.
If you have
a passion for gardening or
care deeply about wildlife and nature,
you might consider joining our
