U.N.I.T.E. - Uganda and North Carolina's International Teaching for the Environment
The U.N.I.T.E. project
brings
Ugandan and North Carolina schools together to teach conservation. This
international teacher-exchange program matches African schools
and teachers to American ones so that they can to share methods and
develop useful curriculum. Environmental education lessons explore
the cultural, economic, social and environmental connections
linking North Carolina and
Uganda.
