Almost all of the Earth’s frogs, toads and other amphibians are heading
toward possible extinctions. Unless the conservation community
draws together NOW, we may find ourselves in a world without tadpoles
or pollywogs or the evening choruses rendered by tree frogs and toads.
In an all out effort to halt these looming extinctions, zoo
professionals from around the world are coming together to share
information, to develop captive breeding and protection programs, and
to create education programs that help environmentally-conscious people
learn how to protect the frogs and the waterways that
belong to our local
neighborhoods, our homelands and the world.

We will update this page as new information comes in about these
world-wide efforts to protect amphibians, so check back when you have
time.
Thank you for caring about the diversity of life on Earth.
