FEATHERS, FUR, SCALES & SKINJune 24th – 26th, 2008Cost: $80 Rising 1st – Rising 3rd Grade Is it a bird? Is it a mammal? What is the difference? With over 240 animal species at the N.C. Zoo, we will investiate those questions and more. Join us on a trek around the Zoo to find out why animals should never wear clothes. 9 a.m – 2 p.m each day AMAZING ADAPTATIONSJuly 29th – 30th, 2008Cost: $110 Rising 4th – Rising 6th grade This program includes an overnight stay on the 2nd night. Additional information will be sent with confirmation. Reach into the rainforest, step into the savanna and dig into the desert. Come to the N.C. Zoo to explore the habitats that our animals call home and learn about the creature features and behaviors that connect these animals to their wild worlds.
