Zoo Camp FAQS
1. How much does it cost to come to zoo camp? Camp fees are stated under each camp program: $30 for day camps, $80 for 3-day camps; and $110 for camps with an overnight experience.2. Is there a discounted rate for Zoo Society members? North Carolina Zoo Society members and North Carolina Zoo employees receive discounted rates of: $25 for day camps; $70 for 3-day camps; and $90 for overnight camps.3. Do you provide lunch for campers? No. Campers nee to bring a bag lunch that does not require refrigeration or heating. We do provide small morning snacks and drinks for campers.4. Where do I drop off/pick up my Zoo camper? Unless otherwise specified, drop off and pick up your zoo campers at the Stedman Education Building in the North American parking. Children may be dropped off no earlier than 8:50 a.m. and must be picked up promptly after their camp day ends.5. Do campers need to bring anything to Zoo Camp? Zoo camp operates rain or shine, and campers need to come prepared for changing weather conditions. Campers should bring a backpack, sunscreen, a hat, a water bottle and a bag lunch. Campers should not bring money, valuables or toys, unless specified by Zoo Camp staff.
