We wish that every one of the people who bought tickets to this lottery could have won the opportunity to spend a day with Dr. DeVoe. We hate disappointing so many good people who share his—and our—interest in veterinary medicine and the care that the Zoo's animals receive.
We do want to thank all of you for supporting this raffle, which provides the bulk of the funding for Dr. DeVoe's Conservation Medicine Program. Currently, Dr. DeVoe is using this funding to research veterinary issues affecting the Puerto Rican Crested Toad.
Only two populations of these charming little toads are known to exist in the wild, and one of these groups is seen mostly on a large gravel parking lot!
Thank you for helping Dr. DeVoe tend to this rare frog's future.
